Photos of the cast who took part in an historical pageant which told the story of West Cork from prehistoric times up until the Battle of Kinsale in 1601. The pageant was narrated, with a large cast of locals in historical dress enacting scenes from the past, with narration and musical accompaniment. The event was held as part of the 1965 Festival of West Cork and took part on 4 July 1965, the opening evening of the festival at the festival grounds on the Western Road.
